這週去補習班補的作文是”How to write a process paragraph”

Process是我們一般看到的步驟，像是我們要簡單的跟別人說路怎麼走阿或是食譜之類的或是實驗步驟阿

*寫process的重點有幾個

1.先思考需要幾個步驟

2.選擇自己覺得適當的時間連接詞

3.頭尾加上主題句跟結尾句，但都不需要太複雜，簡而明瞭就好

4.process不一定要把整個句子都寫出來(可看下面舉例)

舉個例子來說，假如我要跟別人說”流鼻血時要怎麼辦”的步驟

我們要先把步驟想出來

1.First, loosen the clothing around your neck.

2.Put a cotton pad in the bleeding nostril(鼻孔).

3.Then sit down with your head leaning forward(向前傾).

4.Squeeze(捏) your nose until it stops bleeding.

5.If your nose continues to bleed, call a doctor.

再來就是可以思考要用何種連接詞

一般來說有下面幾種連接詞:

(First, second, third, fourth, next, then, lastly, after that, last,)   這些連接詞後面可以直接接動詞，不需要寫子句

舉例來說: After that, add some cold water          First, turn on the heat.

*記得，後面的逗點很重要

(Before, after, when, while, when, as soon as ,the last step is that)  這些就需要後面寫子句

舉例來說:The first step is that you should turn on the heat.

然後開始思考開頭的主題句跟結尾句

最後把整段話寫下來:

You should follow these steps to stop a nosebleed. First, loosen the clothing around your neck. Second, put a cotton pad in the bleeding nostril.

Then sit down with your head leaning forward. Next, squeeze your nose until it stops bleeding. If your nose continues to bleed, call a doctor.
